Please start with a quick intro—your name, where you're based, and what kind of photography you do.?
Louise Mason is based out of New York, Philadelphia and sometimes travels to Los Angeles for work. She is a fine art, architecture, fantasy, fashion, self-portrait and occasionally event photographer, as well as a cinematographer. In

✦ Style & Identity
What’s your signature as a photographer?
A sense of mystery, sadness, tension, texture, detail, elegance and suspense with strong colors.
How would you describe your visual style in 3 words?
Bold. Edgy. Reserved.
What’s a photo you’re most proud of, and why?
Right now, I am most proud of my film still for my feature film Sewing a Nightmare. It has been published in many magazines. I love movie stills.
✦ Process & Perspective
What’s the most unexpected thing photography has taught you?
Photography has taught me how different one person’s perspective is from another.
How do all your areas of creative expertise merge with each other?

It’s all in the details of the subject matter and the suspenseful vibes in the atmosphere. Whether I’m photographing a sculpture in a very detailed flowy dress or designing a flowy dress collection for myself to model in a magazine or wear as a costume in a film it’s about giving those details their own energy and expressiveness.
✦ Personal Reflection
What’s one truth about your creative journey that’s stayed with you?
Always staying true to myself.
Brought to you by Bold & Beyond—where curiosity meets clarity.
