**Personal & Career Journey**
Can you tell us a little about yourself and how you started your modeling career?
My name is Sebastian Spiwak, I'm 18 years old and I'm from South Africa. My modelling career started in 2024 when I got signed to Blaze Talent agency in Johannesburg.
What inspired you to become a model?
I didn’t really have a lot of inspiration at the start of my career, people told me that I could become a model and I tried it out.
Was there a defining moment that made you realize modeling was your true passion?
When I attended IPOP! 2025 in LA and won ‘Model Of The Year’.
**Industry Experience & Challenges**
What has been the most exciting or memorable shoot you’ve worked on?
I haven’t done any photoshoots yet.
Have you faced any challenges in the modeling industry? If so, how did you overcome them?
When I started my career I got rejected by all the agencies that I applied too, I overcame that challenge by not giving up on my dream of becoming a model.
How do you prepare for a big shoot or runway show?
Before runway shows I listen to music and that calms me down and helps me focus.
**Creative Process & Style**
How would you describe your modeling style?
I don’t have a modeling style.
Do you prefer editorial, commercial, or runway modeling, and why?
I prefere runway modeling because I’ve only done runway shows, so I can’t really compare it to anything else.
What role do you think storytelling plays in modeling?
I believe that storytelling plays a big role in modeling because it gives the fans/people insight into the world of modeling.
**Influences & Inspirations**
Are there any models, photographers, or designers who have inspired you?
My biggest inspiration as a model is Jordan Barrett, he has really inspired me to become a better model.
How do you stay motivated and continue growing as a model?
I like to visualise myself doing runway shows or photoshoots and that really helps me to improve myself.
**Future Goals & Advice**
What are your biggest career goals for the future?
​My biggest goal is to walk a show during New York Fashion week.
Do you have any dream collaborations or brands you'd love to work with?
I would love to work with Prada or Ralph Lauren.
What advice would you give to aspiring models looking to break into the industry?
Don’t give up on your career before it even started, keep on trying until you succeed.
