Part philosopher, part craftsman, this self-described ‘creativist’ has emerged as one of the most compelling voices in contemporary photography. Ranked in the global 1% of nude photographers on 35photo.pro, with over 340 magazine features and more than 130 covers, including Le Nude, Lions Art, Boudoir Inspiration, Playboy, and Penthouse, Dusil does not chase trends - he distills them into something far more enduring.
A conversation with the Czechia-based photographer redefining art nude photography through empathy, trust, and the pursuit of authentic beauty.
THE CREATIVIST
His journey is rooted in engineering, physics, marketing, sales, entrepreneurship, internet security, video streaming, and crypto - fields in which he became a respected trainer, lecturer, and keynote speaker. With this foundation, Dusil brings an analytical rigor and technical mastery that few artists can claim. Self-taught across the Adobe CC Suite, a builder of motion graphics, posters, blogs, and even a travel pillow (MyKoddi), he approaches photography as the inevitable meeting point of collected skills. Photography began for him in 1996 with a Nikon F90, but everything coalesced in 2019, when his journey into nude art began.

THE EYES AS A GATEWAY
At the core of Dusil’s work resides a subtle thesis: “The eyes are the gateway to the soul, and the lens is my gateway to her eyes.” It is a statement that invites cliché, yet Dusil does not become defensive. His images don’t rely on overt nudity. Instead, they breathe with tension held in a gaze, the interplay of light and shadow, and a profound sense of tranquility and flow. “Nudity isn’t the foundation of sensuality,” he observes. “The purity of desire is rooted in empathy.”His process is disciplined to the point of ritual. Shooting primarily with a Canon R5 Mark II and a single Canon 85mm f/1.2 lens—“I don’t need a vast collection of lenses; I only need one to create magic.”
THE ART OF DISCIPLINE
A 50,000-image personal collection from the world’s most revered photographers and models informs his eye, shaped by influences such as Herb Ritts and the golden eras of Sports Illustrated and Victoria’s Secret. He works in natural light, favoring improvisational flow guided by trust and mutual respect. Props, sports cars, and tools are notably absent from his lexicon; his “Top 10 Art Nude Don’ts” and “Fine-Art Nuances” serve as both manifesto and method.
Dusil captures up to 2,000 frames per hour, culling rigorously in post-production until only 4–6% remain. “Retouching is like makeup. I want to enhance but not distract. For this reason, I reserve the creative rights to remove blemishes and scars to bring out the honest beauty of my models.”
BEYOND TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE
What elevates Dusil beyond technical excellence is the ethereal architecture beneath his images. He speaks openly of the “virtual walls” models carry - often rooted in past trauma - and the necessary progression from comfort to confidence to unlock a model’s authentic presence. “Sessions are collaborations rooted in respect. I will cut a session short if the emotional current falters.”
PHOTOGRAPHY AS PURE PASSION
In an era of hyper-commercialized aesthetics and algorithmic seduction, Dusil’s uncompromised creations feel somewhat radical. Freed from client demands and financial pressure after a transformative personal chapter fifteen years ago, he pursues photography as pure passion. The resulting work feels neither performative nor staged. This philosophical depth threads through his visual language. Dusil’s spectrum from art nude to erotica inevitably brushes the edges of peak tension. His images reveal layers of vulnerability that transform into visual poetry. Astute viewers sense compassion before they can name it. As he frames it, “My work becomes a prism through which empathy flows”, raising the perennial question of whether the photograph ultimately reveals more about the model or the person behind the camera. For Dusil, both coexist in harmony.
WHEN TECHNOLOGY MEETS ART
From promo videos to blog essays, Dusil’s right-brain artistry combines seamlessly with his left-brain strategy. He navigates the cultural crosscurrents of censorship, platform scrutiny, and the rise of content creation with clarity, arguing that true art endures because it prioritizes the soul over spectacle. As artificial intelligence is on the brink of disrupting creativity, his perceptiveness carries particular weight: a technologist who once lectured on IT security, crypto, and video streaming, Dusil embraces these tools as paint but refuses to let AI become the painter, stating that “Each image is infused with thousands of hours of passion and soul. I won’t let AI take that away from me.”
