WHAT'S YOUR SIGNATURE AS A PHOTOGRAPHER?
My signature is creating images that tell a story long after the viewer has stopped looking at them. I strive to create photographs with intention—images that capture not just what someone looked like, but who they were in that moment. Whether I'm photographing an editorial portrait, an athlete, or behind the scenes on a film set, I want every frame to have purpose, emotion, and authenticity.
WHAT'S SOMETHING UNIQUE ABOUT HOW TO SHOOT OR APPROACH A SESSION?
I believe every session begins with understanding the person, not the camera. Before I think about lighting or posing, I want to understand the story we're trying to tell. That approach allows each session to feel collaborative rather than scripted. My goal is never to simply create beautiful photographs—it's to create images that feel honest, intentional, and meaningful to the person in front of the lens.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR VISUAL STYLE IN THREE WORDS?
Intentional. Story-Driven. Timeless.
TELL US THE STORY BEHIND ONE IMAGE YOU'LL NEVER FORGET?
My signature is creating intentional images that tell a story long after the viewer has stopped looking at them. Every photograph I create is built around purpose, emotion, and authenticity. Whether I'm photographing an editorial portrait, an athlete, or working behind the scenes on a film production, my goal is to create images that allow people to feel something—not just see something.
That photograph challenged me to think beyond lighting and composition. It reminded me that presence doesn't have to shout to be powerful. Sometimes the strongest image is the one that communicates confidence, grace, and emotion without saying a word. That editorial changed the way I approach my work and continues to influence every story I create today.
WHAT DO PEOPLE FEEL WHEN THEY SE YOUR WORK — AND WHAT DO YOU WANT THEM TO FEEL?
I hope people feel something genuine. Whether it's confidence, nostalgia, strength, peace, or curiosity, I want every image to create an emotional connection. Beautiful photographs can capture attention, but meaningful photographs stay with people long after they've seen them.
My goal is for someone to pause, look a little longer, and discover something new each time they return to the image. If my work encourages someone to feel seen, inspired, or reminds them that every person has a story worth telling, then I've accomplished exactly what I set out to do.
WALK US THROUGH YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS — FROM CONCEPT TO FINAL EDIT?
Every project begins with one question: What story are we trying to tell? Once I understand that, everything else starts to fall into place—from location scouting and wardrobe to lighting and composition. During the session, I focus on creating an environment where people feel comfortable enough to be themselves because genuine moments can't be forced. When I edit, my goal isn't to change the person in front of the camera; it's to enhance the story we created together. Every decision, from color grading to the final crop, is made with intention.
HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A SHOOT? ANY RITUALS OR MUST-HAVES?
EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW
BOLD & BEYOND
Preparation is one of the most important parts of my process. I spend time researching locations, building mood boards, studying the creative vision, and making sure every piece of equipment is ready before I ever arrive on set. But just as important is preparing mentally. I remind myself that every person who steps in front of my camera has trusted me with their story, and I never take that responsibility lightly. My goal is to walk into every session calm, prepared, and fully present.
WHAT GEAR DO YOU SWEAR BY—AND WHAT'S YOUR APPROACH TO EDITING?
I believe gear is simply a tool—: I am CANON ALL THE WAY! When it comes to editing, I strive for a timeless look. Rather than following trends, I want my images to feel just as meaningful years from now as they do the day they're are created.

WHAT'S THE MOST UNEXPECTED THING PHOTOGRAPHY HAS TAUGHT YOU?
Photography has taught me that every person has a story worth telling. Early in my journey, I thought my job was to create beautiful photographs. Over time, I realized my real responsibility is helping people see themselves in a way they may have never seen before. Some of the most meaningful moments happen after the shutter clicks—when someone looks at their portrait and sees confidence, strength, or beauty they didn't recognize in themselves. Those moments remind me why I do what I do.
WHAT DO YOU WANT YOUR WORK TO SAY ABOUT YOU, EVEN WHEN YOU'RE NOT IN THE ROOM?
I hope my work reflects integrity, purpose, and compassion. I want people to know that every image was created with intention and respect for the person in front of my camera. Long after I'm gone, I hope my photographs remind people that every individual has a story worth preserving and that those stories deserve to be told with honesty, dignity, and care.
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BE KNOWN FOR—AS A PHOTOGRAPHER AND AS A CREATIVE?
I want to be known as someone who built more than a photography business—I want to be known as someone who created opportunities for others. Photography has given me an incredible platform to tell stories, but my long-term vision is to use that platform to help photographers, creatives, and artists grow sustainable careers of their own. If my work inspires someone to pursue their passion, believe in themselves, or see new possibilities for their future, then I'll consider my career a success.

IF SOMEONE'S LOOKING AT YOUR PORTFOLIO 10 YEARS FROM NOW, WHAT DO YOU HOPE THEY SEE?
I hope they see growth—not just in my photography, but in the lives I've had the privilege to impact. I hope they see a body of work filled with authentic stories, meaningful connections, and people who felt seen through my lens. More than anything, I hope they recognize that every photograph was created with purpose and that the work reflects a photographer who never stopped learning, never stopped growing, and never forgot that people will always matter more than the camera.
WHAT’S ONE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR CREATIVE JOURNEY THAT’S STAYED WITH YOU?
One truth that has stayed with me is that growth comes from having the courage to keep showing up. Every publication, every client, every opportunity has been built one step at a time through consistency, learning, and a willingness to keep improving. My journey has taught me that success isn't about becoming perfect—it's about staying curious, embracing challenges, and trusting that every experience contributes to becoming a better artist and a better person.
WHAT’S SOMETHING ABOUT YOU PEOPLE DON’T USUALLY SEE IN YOUR WORK—BUT SHOULD?
What people don't always see is how much preparation happens before I ever pick up my camera. Every editorial, portrait, or storytelling session begins with research, planning, and understanding the person in front of my lens. But beyond that, I genuinely care about the people I photograph. I want them to leave feeling more confident than when they arrived. While people often see the finished image, they don't always see the conversations, encouragement, and trust that made that image
A Letter to Every Dreamer
Photography has given me far more than beautiful images—it has given me purpose. Every person who has trusted me with their story has shaped me as much as I've photographed them. From editorial productions and film sets to athletes, families, and everyday people, I've learned that every individual deserves to be seen with dignity, intention, and authenticity.
To anyone pursuing a creative dream, don't underestimate the value of consistency. Growth rarely happens overnight. It happens one decision, one opportunity, and one lesson at a time. Keep learning. Keep creating. Keep showing up, even when no one is watching.
My hope is that when people look at my work, they don't simply see photographs. I hope they see stories, human connection, and the reminder that every person has value. If my work inspires someone to believe in themselves, chase a dream they once thought was impossible, or see their own story in a new light, then I've accomplished far more than creating a beautiful image.
This is only the beginning of the story, and I'm grateful for everyone who has become a part of it.
