Defying the Clock: A Mother’s Guide to Unapologetic Glamour
This piece is a celebration of modern womanhood to the fact that motherhood doesn't dilute a woman's radiance—it elevates it. Written from the perspective of a mother for whom age is simply a number, it explores how true glamour is found in confidence, self-care, and living beautifully on one's own terms. I believe its message will deeply resonate with your readers who find joy and empowerment in beauty at every stage of life.
Can you tell us a little about yourself and how you started your modeling career?
I’m a full time working mother who has always carried a deep love for modeling. I began my modeling journey early in my career, but I shifted my focus toward higher studies and eventually paused when motherhood took center stage. The passion never faded, though, and a few months ago I returned to it by sharing my work on Instagram. Stepping back into modeling now feels empowering — a reminder that it’s never too late to embrace what you love.
**Personal & Career Journey**
Was there a defining moment that made you realize modeling was your true passion?
There wasn’t a single dramatic moment — just a constant pull I could never ignore. Every time I stepped in front of a camera, even during my break from modeling, I felt a spark that nothing else could replace. That feeling made it clear that modeling wasn’t just something I did; it was a part of who I am. Returning after motherhood came with challenges, the pressure of balancing work, family, and passion, but overcoming them only confirmed that modeling is my true passion.

**Industry Experience & Challenges**
What has been the most exciting or memorable shoot you’ve worked on?
One of my most memorable experiences goes back to the early years of my career, when I had the opportunity to act in a television series. It was an exciting time — I got to be on set, learn a new side of the industry, and meet some well-known personalities. Around the same time, I was also featured in newspapers as “Model of the Week” and worked on shoots for a few clothing brands. Those experiences stayed with me, not just because of the recognition, but because they showed me how much I enjoy being in front of the camera and being part of something creative.
**Creative Process & Style**
Do you prefer editorial, commercial, or runway modeling, and why?
I’m naturally drawn to editorial modeling because it lets me express emotion and tell a story through each frame. It feels creative and artistic, which is where I’m most inspired. I also enjoy commercial work — especially TV advertisements — because they give me the chance to act and explore another side of performance. Both allow me to express myself in different ways, but editorial will always feel like home.
What role do you think storytelling plays in modeling?
Storytelling is at the heart of modeling. A single image can express emotion, confidence, and identity without saying a word. For me, storytelling is what transforms a pose into a message — it allows the viewer to feel something.
I’m inspired by women who use their presence to tell real, relatable stories: strength, softness, resilience, and evolution. As a mother returning to the industry, I bring my own story into every frame. Modeling becomes more meaningful when it reflects who you are and what you’ve lived, not just how you look.

**Future Goals & Advice**
What are your biggest career goals for the future?
My biggest goal is to continue growing as a model and explore opportunities that allow me to express both creativity and confidence. I’d love to work on more editorial projects and eventually be part of major brand campaigns. TV commercials are also a big dream of mine because they give me the chance to act and bring more personality into my work.
Most importantly, I want to inspire other women — especially mothers — to embrace their passions at any stage of life. If my journey can encourage even one woman to step back into her power, that would be a milestone in itself.
Do you have any dream collaborations or brands you'd love to work with?
There are so many brands I admire, but my dream collaborations are with those that celebrate confidence, elegance, and real women. I’d love to work with beauty and fashion brands that highlight individuality and timeless style. I’m also very drawn to brands that create powerful visual stories — whether through editorial campaigns or TV commercials — because they allow me to blend modeling with my love for acting.
Working with such brands would be a dream, not just for the exposure, but for the chance to represent the kind of modern, empowered woman I believe in.
What advice would you give to aspiring models looking to break into the industry?
My biggest advice is to believe in yourself even before the industry does. Modeling requires confidence, patience, and resilience, so don’t let rejection or comparison discourage you. Focus on building your own style, your own presence, and your own story — that’s what truly sets you apart.
Start small, practice often, and use platforms like Instagram to showcase your work. Be professional, stay consistent, and keep learning. And most importantly, don’t wait for the “perfect moment.” If you feel the passion, step into it. Your journey can begin at any stage of life.
